The big injury news for the Nighthawks is that experienced handler Kirk Savage, who usually touches the disc more than any other Vancouver player, is out for the season due to a serious infection in his knee. The good news is that the very dangerous and threatening infection has been brought under control.

Unfortunately, Kirk is going to be out for the season,” said Nighthawks Head Coach Andrew Lugsdin. “We’ll definitely miss Kirk as he’s an important part of our O line, however, it’s an opportunity for other guys to step up.”
