At long last Andre Gailits, who has been out all season, was recovered enough from his leg injury to participate in practice this week, albeit not full out. But now we know why Kirk Savage unexpectedly missed last week’s game; he has a serious infection in his knee. Fortunately it has finally started to repsond to medication, so there is hope he will be back on the field in time for next weekend’s playoff game in Portland.
