Veteran Kirk Savage expects the Nighthawks to rocket right back up the ranking after this Sunday’s home opener against San Francisco, now ranked third overall and first in the Western Conference.

“The team confidence is still high,” says Savage. “We know that we can play well, as we did last week. Playing on the road is difficult, and it was a tough trip for a number of reasons. We have a lots of experienced and confident players on our team. You can expect to see a bounce back game from us this week.”

The Nighthawks home season opens in Vancouver against the San Francisco Dogfish at the University of British Columbia’s Thunderbird Stadium on Easter Sunday, April 20 at 2 p.m..
